The Georgian town of Holt and the North Norfolk coast are just 20-40 minutes away. A narrow railway from Aylsham to Wroxham is close by.

At Sheringham and Holt there are railway lines where trips on the trains from yesteryear can be taken.

For the walkers and cyclists Mariotts Way is nor far away.
