A beautifully appointed annex set in the grounds of the historic schedule ancient monument of Pentney Abbey. Sitting on the edge of the Nar Valley and connected to the Nar Valley Way, recognized as one of the major walking routes in Norfolk, we are perfectly positioned for lovers of country pursuits. Miles of unspoilt walking and bridle ways surround your room. Walkers, Horse Riders, Golfers, Bird Watchers, Fishermen, Astronomers (little light pollution) will all find this area a delight.

Within easy reach of the North Norfolk Coast, the Sandringham Estate and Oxborough Hall, there is plenty to do for all.

Duck down pillows and duvets dressed with Egyptian cotton linen will ensure that you have good night’s sleep. The bedroom and sitting area are spacious. A wood burning stove supplements the heating making this annex always warm and cosy.

A large outside Hot Tub is available; in the courtyard an African style fire pit provides a perfect setting for late summer evenings

You have access to the Gatehouse Garden. Overlooking the garden is the ancient Abbey Gate House. Described by English Heritage of national importance, it is one of only 20 still standing. 2012 sees the start of an extensive restoration. Included in the plans is an archaeological excavation, this we hope will give us an insight into the history of the Abbey You will be able to view the work in progress and hopefully this will provide a unique experience for your stay at Pentney Abbey.
