Norfolk here is not flat as glaciated valleys make for a variety of stunning scenery, cliffs, wooded hills and sandy beaches.

Sheringham has a good range of shops and restaurants, a swimming pool and leisure centre and a theatre/cinema.

Home of the award winning North Norfolk Steam Railway

A path runs from our back gate to Beeston Common a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

The 43 mile coastal path is a 3 minute walk away and we can point you to wonderful shorter walks, many across National Trust land.

More than just B&B:

Short breaks are lovely but all too often you are just finding out what you need to know about the area in time to leave. We can tell you about the North Norfolk many visitors never see.

Let us take the organisational strain and share with you our extensive knowledge of the area that ranges from hidden beaches to the best tea shops.

We have worked out some days out that will allow you to indulge your special interests, from gardens and historic houses to countryside walking and beautiful beaches.

Contact us about our ‘Barefoot in the Sand’ weeks where we can suggest the very best dates for wonderfully therapeutic beach walks.

We would like to encourage you to use our excellent public transport and can suggest days out using buses, trains, steam trains and even narrow gauge rail!
