The modern toilet and shower facilities, together with a superb washing up area are centrally located. The site shop is stocked with essentials and younger campers are treated to a small play area.
Its rural location on the edge of a conservation area ensures visitors to our Polstead campsite in Suffolk have plenty to do during their stay. The campsite takes its name from a pretty village just a mile away, which features a large pond separated from the village green by a steep hill. There is an excellent network of paths around the village, some taking in the area’s ancient woodland and county wildlife sites.
The campsite is surrounded by quiet country lanes, ideal for exploration by bike. The Suffolk villages of Kersey, Lavenham – with its stunning guildhall and church – and Boxford are less than ten miles from site.
Constable country, including Flatford Mill and Dedham, is within driving distance, as is Long Melford – home to a number of antique shops and the location for TV’s Lovejoy.
