Ideally situated for the Broads and Norwich, Seven Acres House is set in extensive grounds in a peaceful rural location.
Seven Acres House
Surrounded by open countryside on the western edge of the Broads and situated on a country lane, Seven Acres House is set in extensive grounds with lawns, a woodland dell and meadow providing the opportunity for a gentle ramble – perhaps after breakfast. The house is furnished in an individual style with well-loved family pieces and items reflecting a lifetime’s collecting.
A delicious locally-sourced breakfast is served in the bright morning room where guests may relax when they arrive and during their stay. In the warmer months, guests may enjoy afternoon tea on the terrace overlooking the grounds. Upstairs, the two comfortable guest rooms which have a southerly aspect over the gardens are carefully and individually furnished in keeping with the style of the house. Offering only two bedrooms, we aim to provide a relaxing ambience and personal service so that guests can enjoy the comforts of staying in a private house.
Boat Trips on the Broads are a feature of any stay here (nearby you can board the steam train for boat trips at Wroxham). Not to be missed are the remarkable East Ruston Old Vicarage 30 acre exotic garden, NT properties such as Blickling and Felbrigg and fascinating Norwich. Explore Holt with its arts and antiques or the magnificent Holkham Estate which are within easy reach as are fabulous beaches and nature reserves for bird watching. The location is ideal for walking and cycling (local hire available). Restaurants and pubs offer fine dining close by.
