Swilland Mill | Visit East of England

Originally a coal-fired roller mill, built in the 1890s, Swilland Mill has been newly converted into three adjoining 5 star luxury properties. All are extremely private and yet flexible providing high specification luxury holiday accommodation for 14 persons. We have retained the imposing and fascinating structure of the industrial interior. Original doors and pulleys used in the processing of the flour remain, the old flour lift and of course the chimney, whilst the top quality finishing’s, modern furnishings and decoration create real comfort.

All double bedrooms have king sized beds and the twin bedded rooms can also be used to create super king sized beds, all with Egyptian cotton bedding. Kitchens are spacious, well equipped with range style ovens and the central property has a dining table to seat 14 as well as all the necessary cutlery and china etc. Guests can enjoy the Nintendo Wii, Sky TV and Wi-Fi as well as watching DVDs on the cinema style projector screens whilst relaxing by the wood burner.

There are tables and chairs on the terrace to the front of the building with large gardens to the side and rear. Attractive exterior lighting welcomes you to the property and continues to the hot tub and outside changing room. From there lawns lead to the children’s play area. The old mill pond has a fountain and is fully fenced.
