Tapestry Cottage

Tapestry Cottage is situated in our garden and dates back to the turn of the 19th Century. It has been carefully converted from a former out-building to provide a comfortable open beamed studio interior, easily maintained & ideal for a cosy, restful holiday. We offer special rates for short break holidays. The price is £40 per night with a minimum stay of three nights. A warm welcome awaits our guests on arrival. Fresh flowers and a welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, coffee, tea and sugar are provided. The cottage is centrally heated with a constant supply of hot water. Some toiletries, all linen, tea towels and towels are provided. There are a variety of local shops, a post office, two pubs with restaurants, and an excellent Chinese Restaurant with take away, are all within 10 minutes walk. Tapestry Cottage is close to Thetford Forest with its waymarked walks, cycling tracks and nature trails. The Norfolk Cycle Way and long distance paths the Peddars way and the Icknield Way are close by. Further afield, and easily accessible by car are the Norfolk Broads and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust sites, which include Cley Marshes and Hickling Broad. Norfolk and North Suffolk’s historic sites, English Heritage and National Trust properties are all within approximately an hour’s drive.
