The East Wing
The East Wing of Wolterton Hall is a grade I listed building with high ceilings, south facing views across the park to the lake which adjoins the main hall. It was designed in the Regency period by George Stanley Repton, son of the landscape designer Humphrey Repton.
Accommodation is over three floors plus the Tower bedroom. It is furnished in Regency style with luxurious use of period furniture, Persian carpets and contemporary and old master paintings.
We offer all our guests a unique opportunity to view the main Hall during their stay.

BEDROOMS: 7 double bedrooms with Colefax and Fowler fabrics, Vi-Spring pocketed sprung beds, fine Egyptian cotton sheets and goose down pillows and Georgian mahogany furniture with Persian carpets. The master bedroom is in the Tower which has breath-taking views to both east and south over the lake and the walled gardens.
BATHROOMS: 5 bathrooms (2 ensuite) with cast iron baths, Burlington basins and WC’s and Hans Grohe rain-showers.
KITCHEN: Large Smallbone Brasserie oak kitchen with Aga and Rangemaster cookers, 3m central island with chopping block and pot-rack, 3 refrigerators, 2 Miele dishwashers with massive 15th century table to seat 14.
LIVING: Grand opulent drawing room with Persian carpet, Regency crystal chandelier, three Howard style sofas, oil paintings and period furniture.
EATING: Dining room with a Regency table and chairs for 14 with Persian carpet and chandelier.
ENTERTAINMENT: There are discreet TV’s in the kitchen and drawing room.
OUTSIDE: There is a large private garden adjoining the park with dining terrace and barbecue.
