The Lord Nelson
The Lord Nelson Inn, or locally known “Nelly”, a former Public House situated in the quaint Parish of Holton. The Inn now offers luxurious Bed & Breakfast, with its friendly atmosphere. The former bar area has comfortable sofas and arm chairs for guests to use and in the winter and chilled evenings guests can relax by the open log fire.
Secure storage is available for Motor Bikes and Bicycles.
The Lord Nelson has three luxurious bed and breakfast rooms. Each room is decorated, traditional in style, featuring modern and stylish en-suites, with TV, Wi-Fi, tea making facilities and hairdryer.
Wake up to a delicious home cooked full English breakfast accompanied with a choice of juices, teas and coffee or a healthy start of fresh fruit and yoghurts.
The Lord Nelson Inn is located just ten minutes’ drive from the coastal town of Southwold, a nationally renowned seaside resort steeped in true British tradition, where you can take a ferry across to Walberswick. With the Lord Nelson Inn being so close to Southwold, our guests can take advantage of this without having to pay “Southwold prices”. The local area is stunning with plenty to do within a couple of miles: there are fishing lakes, cycling tracks, clay shooting grounds and a golf course – one in Halesworth, and the second in Southwold.
Not far away is Minsmere where the very popular ‘Springwatch’ TV series has been filmed.
If boating is more your ‘thing’ Oulton Broad and the famous Norfolk Broads are not far away so why not hire a boat out on the tranquil waters and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Alternatively leave the car behind and go for some idyllic country walks there are so many to choose from.
Whatever you decide to do you will certainly enjoy your stay at the Sunrise coast of Suffolk!
We look forward to meeting you.
