The Maids Head Hotel is situated in the heart of Norwich in Tombland the historic quarter of the city. The Maids Head Hotel is the oldest hotel in the UK and is steeped in history.

Many historic characters have stayed at the hotel such as Queen Elizabeth I, Catherine of Aragon and Lord Nelson. The hotel was originally built for travelling bishops who were visiting Norwich Cathedral which is located next to the hotel.

Today the hotel is the jewel in Norwich’s crown awarded 4 AA status in 2008 and awarded hotel of the year in the Norfolk region the hotel is the perfect place to stay when exploring Norwich, Norfolk and East Anglia.
