The Norfolk Mead offers luxurious rooms and apartments, complemented by indulgent breakfasts. The hotel has free Wi-Fi and parking, attractive riverside grounds featuring a private lake, walled garden, spa treatment rooms, a six seater English Harbour Yacht for hire and a restaurant providing fine dining.
There is an onsite event venue, The Garden Room, which hosts weddings, private events and corporate functions for up to 250 guests.
The Norfolk Mead has a variety of accommodation options, including deluxe suites, summer houses, cottages, and rooms with king-size or four-poster beds. All have an en suite bath or shower with complementary toiletries, as well as a flat-screen TV, and tea and coffee facilities.
The extensive breakfast menu showcases fresh ingredients from the county’s farms and markets, with a full English featuring local bacon, sausages and mushrooms, as well as Lowestoft kippers and Norfolk jams. Homemade granola, muesli and marmalade can be found alongside croissants, cereals, Danish pastries and cooked-to-order porridge.
The village of Coltishall sits on the River Bure, in the Norfolk Broads National Park. Norwich’s Cathedral, Castle and numerous shops and restaurants can be reached by car in less than 20 minutes, and the unspoilt coastline is half an hour away.
