The Old Cannon Brewery | Visit East of England

Our rooms have been converted from the old brew house into 6 double rooms and a twin room, with en-suite shower rooms. We offer a Brewer’s breakfast which features our Black Pig bacon – cured with our own beer, as well as a variety of other breakfasts like Eggs Benedict and French toast. We are situated in Bury St Edmunds town centre and are a great base for exploring the historic town.

We have been brewing in the bar since 1999 and you can watch us brew usually on Mondays.

We have locally sourced produce for our restaurant and give dishes a personal touch by curing, battering, smoking our meals with our own beer such as our Best Bitter Cod and Gunner’s Daughter Sausages.
