Description

The Old Tackroom is lovingly filled with reclaimed items making it welcoming and cosy, a perfect retreat after a day discovering Norfolk. The accommodation is set in our old stable courtyard and has a private courtyard area of its own which is dog secure, the accommodation backs onto our house. We are hoping to have a small farm shop set up soon so guests can buy local produce during their stay and gifts to take home.

The open plan living area has a futon (suitable for young children) unfortunately we cannot accept more than two adults, Log Burner, TV (online only not arial), small table and chairs, breakfast bar, kitchen area with oven, hob, sink, fridge, wine fridge, toastie maker, kettle and toaster. All linen and towels will be provided. Secure outdoor courtyard for dogs. Secure storage for bikes/roof racks/beach equipment/ paddle/surf boards, please ask if you require this.

The BBQ and Bikes are stored away please ask if you would like to use them and we will pop them in your courtyard.

The Old Tack Room has one en suite bedroom. Guests have their own private courtyard which is dog friendly, we also offer dog sitting services should you wish to head out to Norwich shopping for the day. We have a field at the end of the lane where we hold wild camping throughout summer months should you have family, friends or older children that want to camp. Guests will have their own fire pit in the courtyard but feel free to head up to the field to use the large campfire if you want to. We have neighbours in the village with accommodation should you have a group booking just send me a message and we can arrange that for you.

We have two retro style bikes for your use perfect for cycling to Heydon or Reepham.

We are in a rural village with no street lamps which is amazing for star gazing but we suggest you google maps our location before you set off so you recognise the house/drive in the dark.

The wet/windy weather seems to effect the wifi Ð we have no fibre optic cable in our rural location but we are told it is coming soon.

There are no amenities in the village (there will be when our farm shop is finished). The nearest shop is 4 miles away, a co-op is 5 miles and Spar 5 miles.

We live in a farming village so you are likely to come across farming machinery.
