The Patch is a spacious,homely house set back within its own large,secure, private garden. Created around a mahogany and teak railway carriage dating back to 1891! Two bedrooms and the shower/loo are in the carriage, two further bedrooms upstairs. Well-equipped kitchen, woodburner, wifi, washing machine, barbecue, bicycles and all sorts of other nice touches. The Patch is a few minutes walk from a wild, undeveloped beach on the shores of The Wash – on Norfolk’s ‘Sunset Coast’. Great for families.friends, couples and singles. Dogs by arrangement.

From the A149 between Kings Lynn and Hunstanton, follow the brown signs to Snettisham Beach (the village is about 2 miles inland). Drive all the way down this narrow country road past Diglea campsite, a small row of businesses including the renowned fish and chip shop, and McDonnells caravan site. Turn left in front of Snettisham Caravan Park’s clubhouse. Follow the rough track with the lake on your right and holiday bungalows and chalets on your left. Pass a turning on your left and a big metal gate, and immediately past this you come to The Patch. Take a wide swing to get through the gates – Welcome – you have arrived!
