A living memorial dedicated to the 2nd Air Division of the 8th US Army Air Forces who were based in the East of England during WW2.
The library has an exhibition about the 2nd Air Division and the Roll of Honor for the division is housed here. You will find books on all aspects of American life, history and culture as well as the best in classic and contemporary fiction. You can borrow US magazines and there is an e-book library.

The library is free to visit and books can be borrowed with a Norfolk Library and Information Service card. The American Library is based inside the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library in The Forum in central Norwich, England. The library is managed by the Norfolk County Council Library and Information Service and funded by the Memorial Trust of the 2nd Air Division USAAF, an independent registered UK charity.
