Bank Boats & Canoe Hire

Established in 1982, Bank Boats is a family run business, letting motor launches, canoes and kayaks from our base at the top of the beautiful River Ant.
Being situated on one of the more peaceful stretches of the Norfolk Broads, this is an ideal place from which to explore the wonderful Northern rivers and Broads.
Either motor in one of our fully weatherproof 8 seater day launches, as featured in Channel 4’s ‘Secret Escapes’ , across Barton Broad, to Neatishead, How Hill, Ludham or as far as Ranworth Broad, Horning or St Bennetts’ Abbey, or paddle round to picturesque Dilham, Stalham or Sutton – either direction will offer endless opportunities for enjoying the tranquillity, and seeing the wide diversity of wildlife the Broads has to offer – spot an otter, kingfisher , heron or many of the other species frequenting the river banks.
Whether you paddle or motor, the hire price includes buoyancy aids, maps and full instructions – with our fully trained staff spending as much time instructing you as you need before you set off.
