Description
Located at High Lodge Forest Centre just off the B1107 Brandon Road, near Thetford High Lodge Forest Centre offers a welcoming atmosphere with restaurant, large play area, souvenir shopping, “Go Ape” tree walk and summer concerts.
There are a range of cycle trails in Thetford Forest to suit all ages and abilities. We hire the bikes to enable you to enjoy the trails. We also have a variety of special bikes (link to all ability cycles page) for those with limited riding ability.
Our extensively stocked shop sells every possible item you might need or want for your bike, including new bikes, ex hire / ex demo bikes, clothing and accessories.
We have a workshop on site which can deal with simple to major repairs – if we can fix it, we’ll be happy to.
We are here to help you make the most of your forest.
Please bring with you a Photo Driving Licence or Passport when hiring as we will only accept these as a deposit.
We strongly recommend you reserve your bike to avoid disappointment we are extremely busy and are fully booked most days!

Adult Bikes are mostly front suspension with disc brakes with sizes ranging from Extra Small to Extra Large
Children’s bikes range from 20″ wheels to 26″ wheels, smaller children or those with limited riding we recommend a Trailer Bike, Child Seat or Trailer. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an Adult (18+) on a bike at all times; we cannot rent to an unaccompanied child.
A trailer can carry two children up to 40kg, child seats one child up to 23kg. Minimum age for children is 12 months; sorry we cannot rent to younger children. A Trailer Bike, trailer or child seat can only be fitted to our cycles for safety reasons.
Premium bikes are full suspension models set up for you including height, weight, style of riding and we can supply SPD pedals if desired. Pre booking a minimum of 24hrs ahead is essential we cannot accommodate Premium rentals on the day.
Premium Electric bikes are full suspension models with electric assist set up for you including height, weight, style of riding and we can supply SPD pedals if desired. Pre booking a minimum of 24hrs is essential we cannot accommodate Premium Electric rentals on the day. Please be aware in peak times these are popular so booking further ahead is strongly recommended.
