Welcome to Brandon Country Park. Over 30 acres of managed parkland, famous arboretum, ‘haunted’ mausoleum, lawns and pond, historic walled garden and miles of nature trails.
Located in the vast Thetford Forest, Brandon lies in the very heart of The Brecks. A wild landscape of dark forests, open heathlands, sandy soils and iconic belts of pine trees that straddles the Suffolk and Norfolk border.
Things to do:
Explore one of 3 nature trails from the 1.5 mile Red Trail to the 6 mile Orange Trail. Cycle along forest tracks along the 8 mile Poachers Trail.
Visit our historic Walled Garden with its stunning Himalayan Birch trees, unusual Handkerchief Tree and fragrant Bay Tree. Enjoy our two play areas for toddlers to teens with climbing frame, assault course, swings and slides.
Learn about trees from around the World in our famous arboretum. Pop into our visitor centre for friendly advice on what to see and do. Enjoy morning coffee, light lunch and afternoon tea in the Copper Beech Tearoom.
A Quality Assured Visitor Attraction!
In 2015 we were very proud to receive an award from VisitEngland of Quality Assured Visitor Attraction. The result of a mystery shop style visit, the award recognises quality across the country park. David Falk, Manager of Brandon Country Park said “It’s just great getting this award, and recognises the dedication, hard work and love the team have for the park. We know we mustn’t stop though, and are continually looking for new ways to improve all we do”.
Park is open Dawn – Dusk, 365 days a year.
