Geldeston is a 1hr trip each way. There are two public houses available for lunch / drinks -or just mooring for a picnic; The ‘Wherry Inn’ is located in the village a short walk from the moorings or ‘The Locks Inn’ is set in the marshes with free moorings and quite meadows around.
Burgh St Peter
It is 1.5 hrs each way to the Waveney River Centre – There is a Public House – Play Area – and a Swimming Pool (charges may apply).
Oulton Broad
Ideal for a half day voyage with 2 hrs travel each way approximately.Should you wish to stay longer there are various restaurants and food outlets with a nearby park also.
Somerleyton
A full days trip with time for a lunch at the Dukes Head Public House, which is renowned for good food.
St Olaves
Another mooring for a full day trip, Just downriver from Somerleyton, The Bell Inn Public House.
