That is the greeting every new person hears when they enter our Church building for worship on a Sunday, morning or come to a Bible Study or a concert. So Welcome to Christ Church! We are a community of believers in Jesus Christ who love to sing, share, laugh and pray.
Our Mission is to provide meaningful worship that prepares the congregation to serve the community and the world. We hope that you will come and join us in worship on a Sunday morning at 10:30. You will also be most welcome at one or more of our many fellowship activities.

All about Christ Church
Our Fellowship Groups, For Children and Young People, For Families. Junior Church
Young Church provides an exciting mix of craft, music, games, stories and prayer. We welcome all children aged 3 and above. Children coming to Young Church join the main congregation at 10:30am and then, after about 15 mins, go to your own activities.
We also have occasional All Age Worship services where you stay in the church for the whole service. You will be invited to take part in the service and, at the front of the church there is an area where you can come and ask questions, do some colouring or drawing and some quizzes.
Messy Church –
Messy Church is an exciting nationwide initiative where families can come together for Bible based craft, games and stories. We also provide a light tea and time for a chat.
Messy Church is held on a Wednesday each school holiday or half-term, from 2:00-4:00pm, see the chart below for further details. We do this together with St John’s Anglican Church so that we can get to know more people and share ideas.
Bible Study Groups
Are you worried you might not know enough about the Bible to join one of these groups? Don’t panic! Our Bible Study Groups are for everybody – we can all learn more, whatever our background. Go to our Fellowship Groups page for more information.
