Ebenezer Cottage

In a previous life I worked for a local insurance company but after a merger, relocation and health problems I decided that after 26 years service I was ready for a fresh challenge that gave me a better work life balance – living out of a suitcase just wasn’t fun anymore ! Living in the beautiful south Norfolk countryside I was aware of the bountiful supplies of food in the local hedgerows and it inspired me to start preserving. With the help and support of friends and family I was able to get my new business off the ground and I haven’t looked back since.

Most of the ingredients that we use are now home grown our sourced locally. We use recipes passed down through the generations. Our range now includes chutneys, pickles, jams, marmalades, jellies, salts, oils, vinegars and not forgetting our award winning thirst quenching cordials.

All our preserves are hand made using traditional open preserving pans in small batches.

We have no shop at Ebenezer Cottage and therefore visits are only possible with an appoinment
