Housed in a Tudor house, recorded in 1575 as The Bull Inn, Elm Tree Gallery is an emporium of attractive gifts and cards which include jewellery (Paula Bolton, Kazuri, Sea Gems etc), scarves, leather and fabric bags, Moorcroft, toys (Jellycat, Fiesta etc), Woods of Windsor toiletries, scented candles, sachets and room sprays, decorative photo frames, perfume bottles and pill boxes.
Elm Tree Gallery was first established in 1978, and we pride ourselves on our friendly and personal service to our customers. We have many visitors who make a point of regularly returning to us because of the unique and friendly ambience, and we are often told that we have an excellent selection of gifts and greetings cards.
Visitors can relax with a tea or coffee (limited seating unless they wish to sit outside).
The village of Woolpit is itself well worth a visit, with its fine Church of St Mary, famous for its double hammer beam angel roof and pew ends which are among the many fine features to be seen. You will also find details of the medieval legend of the Green Children of Woolpit. Just across the road from Elm Tree Gallery there is a small local history Museum (see the Woolpit village website (www.woolpit.org)).
