The only mill on the Norfolk Broads to have its sails turning on a regular basis.
This drainage mill is in the final stages of a lengthy restoration. Enjoy stunning views from the top of the mill and view the ongoing work inside the mill.
The visitor centre next to the mill contains exhibitions on the development of drainage mills and the restoration of Hardley Mill. Light refreshments are also available to purchase.
Access by foot via the improved riverside path from Hardley Staithe (25-30 min walk). Footpath opening mid May 2013.
Access from the Yare using the mooring at the mill site. This mooring is free to use during the day. There is a £5.00 fee for overnight mooring. There is electricity hook up but no water supply or waste disposal facilities.
There is no vehicle access to the mill for members of the public.
