Gardens, park and woods open on last Sunday in April and first in May, 2.00 to 5.30 in aid of Wetherden Church. Entry £4 adults, free to u16s, Teas in the Barn. Haughley Park is signed off the A14 between Bury and Stowmarket.
There is much more than bluebells to see: the main lawn boasts the largest magnolia in Suffolk and the largest hollow oak tree. There is a dell garden, paved walled garden, holly and laurel walks and walled kitchen garden. In the woods there are way-marked walks of between 1 mile and 2.25 miles, through woodland garden, old broadleaf, natural woodland, old plantation and new.
