A warm welcome and a relaxing peaceful atmosphere await you at this 19thC country house, quietly set on a 300-acre arable farm, just 2 miles off the A148 and the Georgian town of Holt.
The house and its surroundings are very picturesque. Guests can walk in the gardens or on the farm and feed the ducks, chickens and donkey. Many like to stroll around the large kitchen garden and greenhouses. For the more adventurous there is a 5-mile circular walk through Holt Country Park. A lovely day can be enjoyed with a visit to the seal sanctuary at Blakeney Point by boat, or a stem train ride from Holt to the seaside town of Sheringham. The North Norfolk coast is just a short drive away with its sandy or shingle beaches and Cley Nature Reserve for bird watches is about 6 miles. North Norfolk has many local attractions, Letheringsett working water mill, Thursford Organs, Langham Glass, West Runton Shire Horse Centre, Blickling Hall and many National Trust properties to name but a few. Holt is a must for antique hunters and that special little gift with its shops hidden away up quaint little back streets.
