Lowestoft Beach

Lowestoft seafront provides a traditional seaside experience with Blue Flag award winning sandy beaches, Victorian seafront gardens, Royal Plain Fountains, two piers and more. The seafront also plays host to the annual Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival.

The town is home to a wide range of quality attractions and things to do from museums depicting the town’s rich maritime links, wildlife and theme parks, a stately home, traditional smokehouses, The Marina Theatre which is home to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and much more providing something for everyone.

As the southern gateway to The Broads, ‘Britain’s Magical Waterland’, Oulton Broad provides the perfect opportunity to explore and enjoy one of the region’s highlights.

Right at the centre of Oulton Broad you will find the Green Flag winning Nicholas Everitt Park, where you can sit back and relax to the sound of a brass band concert on a summer Sunday afternoon, enjoy the thrills of Thursday night powerboat racing or explore the Lowestoft Museum at Broad House, which houses an impressive collection of Lowestoft Porcelain.

On the edge of Oulton Broad is Carlton Marshes Nature Reserve with more than 100 acres of grazing marsh and fen creating a haven for many different species of wildlife, plants and insects.
