We produce ‘natural oak smoked foods’: kippers, salmon, mackerel, haddock, kiln salmon and duck pâté. Also fresh fish from bass to crabs. We take pride in only sourcing our fish from sustainable sources.
The Mid Norfolk Smokehouse was started in 2003 by David Bunning. A local family run business, we serve local businesses, farmers markets and beyond, stretching as far as the far east on occasion. We source all our fish from local suppliers, or from the finest suppliers around the world.
Our family links to the sea can be seen the moment you arrive at our shop. Sitting outside is the ‘Annabelle’, the last fishing trawler used by Mr Bunning.
We use only traditional smoking methods, and source all of our oak saw dust from local Norfolk Sawmills. We supply hotels and farm shops, seasonal game and venison October to Easter.
Environmental Care: We source only from sustainable sources using Norfolk oak sawdust.
