Located in the historic art district of the Fine City, Norwich Theatre Playhouse is a relaxed, intimate 300-seat riverside venue a 10-minute walk from Norwich Theatre Royal. It presents a broad range of theatre including comedy, dance, international music, fringe, drama, fun filled children’s events and much more. Together with Theatre Royal and Stage Two, Norwich Theatre Playhouse is part of the Norwich Theatre family of venues.

Norwich Theatre is one of the UK’s leading performing arts organisations and the largest arts organisation in the East of England, welcoming over 450,000 visitors across its three venues every year. Its extraordinary portfolio of partners include: Britten Sinfonia, English Touring Opera, Glyndebourne, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, National Theatre, Northern Ballet, Rambert, Royal Shakespeare Company, and Sadler’s Wells. Alongside work from world class artists and internationally acclaimed visiting companies, Norwich Theatre presents an increasing number of in-house productions including the Creative Matters season, the annual Theatre Royal pantomime and the Playhouse Christmas show. Away from the stages, Norwich Theatre offers an extensive Take Part programme aimed at making the arts accessible to the broadest range of audiences.
