Norwich Puppet Theatre is a unique venue in the heart of Norwich, one of only three building based puppet theatres in England.
Every year the theatre hosts a range of visiting companies and showcases the best in national and international puppetry and object-based theatre. It is also home to a professional company, who perform at the Theatre and also tour.
The Theatre occasionally has children’s shows on weekends during term time, but most of their family programme is focussed during the school holidays. As well as puppet shows, the Theatre offers a range of creative workshops for children and families. These range from tots’ workshops for 18 month – 5 year-olds, to animation workshops for 9 – 16 year-olds.
Norwich Puppet Theatre also hosts an annual manipulate Visual Theatre Festival in early Spring, celebrating puppetry and related art forms for adult audiences.

The Box Office is open 9.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and from 9.30am on Saturdays when we have a workshop or performance scheduled
