Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park has so much to explore. With over 35 rides, shows and attractions you’ll have plenty to see and do when you visit the park.
The Fun Starts Here
If you’re looking for a great day out with the whole family Pleasurewood Hills in Lowestoft has it all. With over 35 rides, shows and attractions there’s something for everyone whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or not!
Pleasurewood Hills has been thrilling families for 35 years and remains a family favourite.
The younger family members will have a fantastic time exploring the Kiddie Zone with its rides which are suitable for children around one metre tall, while our family friendly rides are the perfect introduction to the theme park world. And if you prefer a more extreme day out, there’s a choice of rides including Wipeout – the region’s most extreme roller coaster.
If the thought of rides turns your stomach there’s plenty to keep you occupied too. With a choice of two trains to hop on as many times as you like, a chairlift for a birds’ eye view of the park and the spectacular sealion and parrot shows to enjoy, as well as a brand new and exciting outdoor show planned for the summer, you’re sure to have a great day out at Pleasurewood Hills. And, with the new non-rider ticket you can enjoy them all for the great price of just £10.
Brand New Indoor Play and Sensory Play Fun
In June the park opened the doors on a brand new indoor soft play area – Woody’s Cub House. Designed for children up to the age of 10, there are plenty of places for little ones to jump, slide and climb around to burn off some excess energy. The Cub House also features a sensory room and is the perfect place for babies and young toddlers, as well as children with autism, or emotional and behavioural difficulties who are looking for a place to chill out and take time out from the park.
Rootin’ Tootin’ Target Trail
For some Western-themed fun, head to Main Street and try your hand at the Rootin’ Tootin’ Target Trail. Jump in a cart to ride along the UV lit route and shoot at the laser targets to help Sam Hobs stop the mine critters from blowing up the goldmine. The whole family can join in and, if you’ve got a competitive streak, check out your score against others in your cart or see how you compare to other visitors to the park.
Time to Re-fuel
When the time comes to take a break from the action and re-fuel there are plenty of places to choose from. As well as offering a choice of fast food options, the park has also recently opened Tony’s, an all-you-can-eat pizza and pasta restaurant. Serving a range of fresh Italian style pizza, delicious pasta and crisp fresh salad, it’s definitely worth a visit. There are also spaces around the park for you to enjoy a picnic with the family.
Great Value Days Out
Pleasurewood Hills offers a choice of great value passes to help you make the most of your day.
Season passes are an excellent option if you’re planning to make a number of trips to the park and the family season pass, which is valid for two adults, up to four children and up to four grandparents, really is hard to beat when it comes to value for money. All season passes are valid from March to October and offer unlimited entry on days that the park is open, as well as discounts in the shops and restaurants. And, a direct debit payment plan option means the costs of the passes can now be spread out during the year.
This year, the park has also introduced an undated ticket which offers flexibility and means you don’t have to pick the day of your visit in advance if you’re booking online.
Visitors to the region may also want to take advantage of the seven day pass. Valid for seven consecutive days, the pass offers great value for anyone planning to make several trips to the park.
