Description

The River Stour Trust is a registered charity seeking to preserve the Suffolk/Essex Stour Navigation for the benefit of everyone. One of our most popular activities are boat trips run by our knowledgeable, enthusiastic and fully trained volunteers. Thousands of passengers can appreciate Constable Country from the unique perspective of our river.

Our crewed boats are available for a range of scheduled trips and private charters on the upper River Stour between Sudbury, Great Cornard and Great Henny; and the lower River Stour between Stratford St Mary, Flatford, Dedham and Brantham.

At Sudbury, a visit to our riverside tearoom is the perfect accompaniment to a river trip! Our volunteers serve hot and cold drinks, delicious homemade cake and light lunches.
