This small nature reserve provides a gentle circular walk around reedbeds, fens and pools.
A gentle circular walk of 1.5 to 2 miles through reedbeds, fen and pools. The footpath starts at the church and there is a hide and viewing shelter along the route.
Look out for marsh harriers, kingfishers, water rails, and reed and sedge warblers. Wetland wild flowers provide bright splashes of colour in spring and summer. The site floods in winter, attracting bitterns, gadwalls and shovelers. Boots or wellies recommended.
