Southwold Golf Club
Sotuhwold Golf course was founded in 1884 at Southwold Common on the east cost of Suffolk, with excellent panoramic views of the sea.
6050 yrds, 9 hole golf course. Visitors are restricted during competition days (ladies – Wed, Gents – Sun).
Although it has only nine holes, the course at Southwold Golf Club has alternative tees for golfers to take to if they want to enjoy a full-length round. Another benefit of that is that it allows for a wide variety of golf to be enjoyed, which can only be described as a good thing. That means every time you come back to the course you can play a different round from before.
There are some long holes too, especially the par-4s, so big hitters can look forward to really letting rip from the tees. Just don’t let rip too recklessly because there are plenty of hazards around here ready to gobble up any stray shot.
