Grade-1 listed medieval church hosting heritage events and craft fairs.
St Andrew’s Church Soham is a beautiful, medieval church at the heart of Soham, Cambridgeshire, East Anglia. Our grade-1 listed building is an important historic example and a national heritage asset. We are one of the largest public buildings in our town and an important community hub.
Soham is a town of over 12,000 people in the Cambridgeshire Fens. It serves as a service centre for a large rural area and many other villages. The town is connected to the urban centres of Ely and Newmarket, and is less than 10 miles from the university city of Cambridge.
The church runs bi-annual craft fairs (normally in July and December) and a wider programme of heritage and community events throughout the year.
Church events have local people at their heart whether as volunteers, traders or visitors. We are interested in connecting with artists, craftspeople and makers in our local area -Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Rutland, Peterbourgh, Bedfordshire, Essex. Particularly those who might wish to trade at our future events.
