St. Peter’s Brewery is one of England’s original craft breweries, located alongside the moated St. Peter’s Hall, deep in the picturesque picturesque Suffolk countryside.
St. Peter’s Brewery is one of England’s original craft breweries, founded in 1996 in former traditional agricultural buildings alongside the moated St. Peter’s Hall, deep in the picturesque Suffolk countryside.
The location, in the village of St. Peter South Elmham, near Bungay, is ideal for the excellent water quality used in the brewing process. All beers brewed at St. Peter’s Brewery use water filtered through chalk deep beneath the brewery, obtained from our own deep bore-hole.
Alongside the brewery, St. Peter’s Hall is a historic venue with a bar and restaurant, and is available for functions, weddings, events, meetings and conferences.
Open 7 days a week, our visitors shop stocks the full range of St Peter’s beers and ales, as well as St. Peter’s branded merchandise and a range of other local produce.
Brewery tours are available on Saturdays at 11am and 1pm. At only £12 per person, our brewery tours offer an insight into how we brew our award winning beers and an interesting history of the beautiful, medieval St. Peter’s Hall. The price includes a full tasting at the end with a free bottle of beer to take away.
