2020 is a significant year for the Suffolk Craft Society as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary
From its foundation in 1970, The Society’s objective of promoting excellence in designer craft-making and supporting the work of Suffolk based and affiliated craft-makers has been constant. Initially a small group of ceramicists led the way in the formation of the SCS and under its first Chairman, Commander John Jacob, the Society met at Snape Maltings.

The Suffolk Craft Society’s Gallery 2 showcases a diverse selection of contemporary designer crafts, all made entirely by professional crafts people in Suffolk, and all for sale! The Gallery is staffed exclusively by the Society’s members who will be more than happy to tell you about the work and the individual makers, or to help you with your selection. However if you do prefer to browse undisturbed then you will be very welcome to do so in the relaxed gallery surroundings.
