We often asked “Do you sell fast food”? Our answer is simple: that we sell good food as fast as we possibly can!
At The Fox and Hounds we have only a small dining area and kitchen. While we aim to be able to serve everyone wishing to dine with us, tables that have not booked in advance will be served on a first come, first served basis. Walk-in tables and outside eaters are more than welcome however, at certain busy times, there may be a wait.
An ever-changing selection of ‘Cask Marque’ accredited quality beers await you along with the regular favourites of Adnams Bitter, Greene King IPA, Fosters, Stella Artois, Guiness and Aspel Cider.
Good Food
Our popular and busy kitchen aims to provide you with a menu of good quality and value fayre. In addition to any ‘specials’, we have vegetarian and vegan options and choices for those with various intolerances.
Garden
We have a good sized garden area, enclosed for safety and equipped with a number of tables. There is a small play area for children under parental supervision, together with a bistro-style seating area.
Pool, Darts and Golf
The Fox & Hounds pub has a Pool table and traditional darts in the Pool bar, both having active teams in the local leagues. There is also the Fox & Hounds Golf Society who arrange occasional fun days..,
Quizzes and Bingo
We host our popular Sunday quiz nights every two weeks alternating with fun bingo nights in the saloon bar area. For the less energetic, Sky Sports are available in the Pool bar.
Music
On Bank Holiday weekends, the saloon bar offers live music. We aim to source a wide range of styles from solo artists and cover-bands alike, usually on bank holiday weekends.

Monday – Saturday evenings: 6pm – 8.45pm
Monday – Sunday Lunchtimes: 12pm – 2.15pm
Bookings are taken from 7pm
