The Queen at Brandeston is a country pub that sits in the heart of the Suffolk village of Brandeston. The Queen celebrates the finest seasonal produce and offers a warm welcome. Our family-run pub serves a wide selection of real ale, offers a carefully selected wine list and exceptional food; a standard recognised in The Good Food Guide. We have our own kitchen garden and use as many seasonal vegetables and herbs and as possible in the kitchen.
We have lovely outdoor seating for the summer in front of the pub and during the winter; we offer a cosy fireside dining for the perfect Sunday roast. We are dog friendly and the surrounding countryside boasts some fantastic walks with valley, woodland and quiet lanes to explore.
‘The Queen’s Head’ was originally built in 1447, but the current building dates from the 19th century after it had to be rebuilt following a fire. The Aitchison family opened The Queen (formerly known as ‘The Queen’s Head Inn’) in July 2015.
