Description

Immerse yourself in a museum showcasing the arts and crafts of South and South East Asia, located in a stunning former Victorian roller-skating rink in the centre of Norwich. The South Asia Collection is dedicated to recording, conserving, and promoting the traditional art, crafts, and cultures of South and South East Asia, and is managed by The South Asian Decorative Arts and Crafts Collection Trust (SADACC), a UK registered charity. The South Asia Collection cares for over 8,500 items, hosts a research library and shares the collection through exhibitions, displays, research projects, talks and events. The museum shop, Country & Eastern, has a unique range of clothing and jewellery as well as beautiful home furnishings, oriental rugs and gifts that are sourced directly from suppliers and craftspeople in South Asia.
