Welcome to the White Horse
A traditional family and dog-friendly country pub, with a great selection of real ales, home cooked food and a large beer garden.
Owned by the community since 2012.The historic Broadland pub just five minutes’ stroll from Upton Staithe, the River Bure and the beauty of the Upton Marshes, has long been celebrated as part of Norfolk’s rural life.
The White Horse has been providing locals and visitors to Upton with a comfortable and friendly place to meet, relax and enjoy good food and drink for over 200 years.
In July 2012 the pub was puchased by the community with additional support from The Prince’s Countryside Fund, Broadland Community Grants, Broadland Community Renewables and the Norfolk Community Foundation.
Our Provisional hours are;
Friday and Saturday : Bar 12pm – 10pm – Food (eat-in or takeaway) 12pm – 9pm
Sunday -Thursday : Bar 12pm – 9pm Food (eat-in or takeaway) 12pm – 8pm
