Description

If you’re looking for a unique experience to entertain the whole family from nought to ninety, look no further than a self-drive safari tour at multi-award winning Watatunga Wildlife Reserve. With the U.K.’s largest collection of endangered deer and antelope, this 170-acre gem is one of Norfolk’s best kept secrets. The reserve offers three guided safari tours a day between April and October – hop into your own electric buggy and get up close and personal with the wonderful wildlife that live at Watatunga.

Recognised as the country’s Best Small Visitor Attraction in 2023 and locally King’s Lynn’s Best Leisure & Tourism Attraction 2025, there is lots to do at Watatunga including photography experiences, fine-dining or self-catered events in the lakeside BBQ hut. Corporate breaks for client meetings, colleague away days and team building experiences.

Access to the reserve is via guided tour only – trailer tours run on the weekends and Tuesdays and Thursdays during School Holidays – and must be pre-booked online via the Watatunga website.

The reserve also offers luxurious self-catering accommodation with stunning views of the animals and the option to organise private tours for small groups in our electric buggies or large groups in our safari trailer.
