Visit East Anglia operates Visit East of England. It is a not-for-profit business-led private company limited by guarantee without share capital.
Visit East Anglia directors include some of the most successful tourism businesses in the region such as Adnams, Holkham Hall Estate, BeWILDerwood and Strattons. They have no financial interest in the business and take no remuneration.
Visit East Anglia is consumer and business focussed and brings a unified tourism voice to East Anglia, under the Visit East of England banner.
We work with Greater Anglia, the East Anglian rail franchise operator, and have established links with the major transport hubs and providers including London Stansted Airport and Transport East
Our organisation is also supported by Suffolk and Norfolk County Councils who would assume the assets of VEA should the company discontinue.
Visit East of England operates as the Visitor Economy Sector Group for the county councils and works closely with all local authorities and DMOs in Suffolk and Norfolk.
Our core objectives are:
- To develop the year-round visitor economy;
- Making tourism and hospitality a career for life;
- To make the visitor offering accessible to the world;
- Filling more bed nights;
- To develop and share industry data.
