Centred around the beautiful 15th century Holy Trinity Church, Loddon has many fine buildings which reflect the growth of the town over the centuries.

For the visitor, the town offers local walks, access to the Southern Broads and a variety of specialist local shops, eateries and pubs.

Tourist information can be found at Loddon library annexe (Parish Council office) and is open from Easter through the Summer, Monday to Saturday, 10am till 1pm.

Loddon centre – parking
There are good parking facilities on Church Plain, in the centre of the town, and at the staithe.
Parking is free for the first two hours (but you must display a ticket).
There are frequent bus services from Norwich, Lowestoft and Beccles.

Residents are served by schools catering for all ages, a library, and a good range of local businesses.

A wide variety of activities, from aerobics to yoga, Cubs to WI, are offered by various clubs and societies and we also have a community gym, open to all, that runs three times a week.

A Country Market is held every week.
We even have our own community cinema!
