Mill Tye Gallery to launch 12PM ‘Twelve Printmakers’ exhibition in June as part of its ‘Summer of Art’ exhibitions and workshops.

Get ready for an unforgettable summer of exhibitions, workshops and art classes starting in June in the gallery’s first floor Arts Centre space – there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Mill Tye Gallery and Arts Centre, located in Cornard Mills near Sudbury, Suffolk, is delighted to announce the details of a forthcoming exhibition of the works by the renowned East Anglian printmakers 12PM.

The 12PM exhibition will be unveiled at a special launch event on Saturday 1st June, from midday until 6pm, where visitors will be able to meet the artists and hear more about their inspiration and methods used in creating the vibrant and atmospheric work.

The exhibition will include work by Alan Woods, Anthony Searle, David Stone, Evelyn Polk, Helen Maxfield, Jacqui Robins, Jane Hunter, Julia Vezza, Kit Leese, Marta Dyer-Smith, Sally Freer and Terry Kubecki.

Drinks will be served throughout the launch event and the gallery and artists very much look forward to welcoming visitors throughout the duration of the exhibition.

Part of Suffolk Open Studios Art Trail Weekend 15th and 16th June from 10:30 to 5pm. Marta Dyer-Smith, a 12PM artist, will be bringing her press to the gallery over the Sudbury Art Trail ‘Open Studios’ weekend of 15th – 16th of June giving free to attend demonstrations, come along and find out exciting possibilities experimental printmaking can offer!

The 12PM printmakers exhibition will run throughout June in the gallery’s first floor Arts Centre space. Open to the public from Thursday to Sunday 10:30am-4pm, Mill Tye Gallery features exceptional new works from renowned and undiscovered talents in the world of printmaking, pottery, textiles and sculpture, and includes several exclusive pieces of work that have been created especially for Mill Tye Gallery.

Set by the idyllic River Stour in Great Cornard, just outside the centre of the historic market town of Sudbury, Mill Tye Gallery and Arts Centre is located at 3 Cornard Mills, Great Cornard, Sudbury, Suffolk, CO10 0GW. Visitors will find free parking is available in the car park located before the level crossing. Additional parking is available for the preview day at the Thomas Gainsborough School, Great Cornard Leisure Centre car park in Head Lane. (Please note: the car park closes at 4:30pm with gates closed at 5pm).
