A small friendly workshop where you will learn to forage for seasonal produce within the magnificent grounds of Bressingham Gardens and be inspired to create your own sustainable and locally sourced decorative wreath.
Walk with us though our 17 acres of enchanting woods and gardens and discover how to forage and source all the materials necessary to make a long-lasting seasonal wreath. Our informative and knowledgeable guide will inspire you to see the decorative value of wild and grown materials and you will learn to create beauty with seasonally available resources.
The small and friendly workshop uses no foam, plastic or glue, preferring locally found sustainable and compostable resources which means you can go back to nature and refresh your wreath as the seasons change. So, savour the joy of slowing down, immerse yourself totally in the moment and get creative! Please allow three hours to enjoy this experience. The gardens and workroom are accessible to wheelchair users and the small informal sessions can be adapted to accommodate visitors with additional sensory requirements if notified at the time of booking. The workshop includes access to the gardens and larger estate area normally closed to the public, use of secateurs and pliers, basket for foraging, wire and garden twine, guided access to foraging all the materials needed for your creation, expert tuition on foraging and wreath making, hot drinks and biscuits, your wreath to take home with you.
