Escape the post-Christmas lull and the winter blues with a blissful few days of sewing at the stunning Chaucer Barn in Norfolk. Set amidst beautiful grounds, the barn provides the perfect backdrop for creativity and relaxation. With up to 12 spaces in the sewing room, you’ll be in the company of fellow sewing enthusiasts. Just bring your machines and your project materials.
Retreat times
Arrival from 3:30pm on the 10th February. Departure by 10am on the 13th February.
Price
The price of a room with breakfast and 1 sewing space for the 3 nights ranges from £510-£598. Catering for lunch and dinners can be added for £90pp.
Additional guests can be added to your room for £120 (includes breakfast). Lunch and dinner can be added for £90pp. If your additional guest would like a space in the sewing room this can be added for £200.
Sewing Room Access & Support
The sewing room will be open from 4:30pm on the day of arrival until 8pm on the night before departure. Katy will be available during morning and afternoon sessions each day to offer guidance, advice, and support, bringing her 15 years costume industry experience to your projects. Sewing room will have a cutting table, basic kit (for if you forget anything), ironing board and overlocker.

Catering Options
Breakfast is included with your room for all guests. Lunch and dinner can be added, per person when booking, and will be enjoyed in the large Dining Hall. Catering will feature rustic, hearty winter fare such as soups and stews to warm you up after a day of sewing. There is a large kitchen with excellent catering equipment should you wish to cater for yourselves.
Retreat Spaces and Relaxation
Our sewing sessions will take place in the Pink Sitting Room and Games Room, while the gorgeous first-floor mezzanine offers a relaxing spot for downtime between projects.
Additional Guests and Accessibility
Sewing Participants are welcome to add a non-sewing guest to their room booking, though sewing room access is reserved for those taking part in the retreat.
