Travel to East Anglia by Rail

East Anglia is well served with extensive rail links, mostly operated by Greater Anglia. The Great Eastern Main Line runs from London Liverpool Street with its terminus at Norwich. The West Anglia Main Line, operated by Great Northern connects King’s Lynn (via the Fen Line) and Cambridge with London with Cross Country and East Midlands trains.

The Cambridge Line connects the city with London Kings Cross. The region is linked to the North and West by connections via Peterborough. Virgin Trains East Coast operates services on the East Coast Main Line. East Anglia is also well served with a regular rail link to the port of Harwich, and the Stena Line ferry service to and from Hoek van Holland.
