Norwich Christmas Lights Switch On

Thursday 15th November

Don't miss the party of the year when the streets of Norwich sparkle and shine, and music fills the night at the annual Christmas light switch on. There'll be a parade with Father Christmas, entertainment in front of City Hall and the city centre lights, as well as the famous Tunnel of Light, will be switched on from 6pm. A packed programme of free street and stage entertainment, festive fundraising stalls and fairground rides. Switching on the Christmas lights this year is Dr Liz O’Riordan, an inspiring local breast cancer surgeon who who has twice fought the disease herself, and was recently the subject of a statue displayed in the town’s Abbey Gardens.

Maldon Vintage Christmas Fair and Light Switch On

Thursday 29th November
This year the Maldon Vintage Christmas Fair will have a 50s theme. Starting at 6pm, there will be late night shopping, a street market, choirs, music, hospitality hosted by the local shops, and competitions. Watch the Town Mayor of Maldon turn on the Christmas lights at 7pm.
