Binham Blue

Binham Blue Cheese from Norfolk

Mrs Temple’s Binham Blue is one of a range of hand produced cheeses produced by Catherine Temple of Copy’s Green Farm at Wighton, Norfolk.

Binham Blue is a soft blue veined cheese produced using pasteurised milk from Holstein Friesian and Swiss Brown cows which graze near Wells-next-the-Sea, by the small village after which the cheese was named. Made with vegetarian rennet, from a producer who prides themselves on high standards of animal welfare, so more than suitable for vegetarians. The cheese has a pale-yellow interior encompassed by a harder, courser and rough orangey rind.

Norfolk Dapple

Dapple cheese from Norfolk

Norfolk Dapple is an unpasteurised, clothbound, hard cows’ milk cheese with a dappled rind, said to be in the colours of the Barn Owl’s wing feathers. Also comes in a Smoked, Tawny and Ruby versions,

Made at Ferndale Farm, Fearndale Cheeses make proper old-fashioned farmhouse cheese. All cheeses are made by hand using traditional methods – Norfolk Dapple, Carrow and Ruby are cloth-wrapped for protection after being made. This ensures the cheeses develop a distinctive dappled rind and firm texture with delicate flavour notes in the body of the cheese.

Suffolk Gold Cheese

Suffolk Gold has a creamy semi-hard farmhouse cheese, delicious flavour with a rich golden colour. Perfect with oatcakes or an apple.

Suffolk Farmhouse Cheeses is a family-run business established in July 2004 by Jason and Katharine Salisbury.

From the milk of their own herd of pedigree Guernsey's, they produce fine hand-made cheeses by traditional methods. They also make other dairy products and rear beef and pork.

Baron Bigod

Baron Bigod Cheese

A creamy, white bloomy-rind cheese handmade on Fen Farm by Jonny and the team, from their own raw Montbeliarde cows milk. It has a smooth silky texture and a golden curd, with long lasting warm earth, farmyard and mushroom flavours.

Baron Bigod is the only traditional raw milk Brie-de-Meaux style cheese produced in the UK. In fact, even the French would be jealous, as this cheese is one of only a handful of its type in the world to be made by the farmer on the farm and can genuinely be called a true farmhouse Brie.
