Where to walk to find your materials...

Get those walking shoes on and get yourself down to the beach or wander along a public footpath. Our favourite spots on the coast are Cromer and Sheringham, or further along the north Norfolk coast at Hunstanton. For Suffolk, Southwold has a great selection of pebbles and Dunwich sees some great driftwood.

Head to the beach and you can look out for driftwood, sea glass, flotsam and jetsam and different coloured pebbles.

Wander in the woods and on the floor, you might find pine cones, seeds, conkers, leaves, bark and stones of all shapes and sizes.

Expert top tips!

Make a Nature Mosaic in East Anglia`

Think before you pick

Make sure to use only things your find that are loose on the ground or foreshore. Don't pick flowers or plants when out on your travels, leave them for the next visitor to enjoy.

Make an installation

Once you've made your masterpiece, leave it in situ for the next person to enjoy. Take photos, send them to friends and family and share with us online but always leave the things you collected in their natural home.

Make an Art trail

On your walks make a series of small artworks that mark your journey and the different materials your find. Then on another day return to see if your pieces are still in place. If you are lucky mother nature won't have washed or blown them away!
